Paul started Proactive Despatch back in 2008 and has spent the past nine years establishing our company as one of the North West’s leading courier firms. He has nearly twenty years experience of working in the courier industry but what really motivates Paul is delivering great customer service. Paul is here to service our staff and our customers and is committed to making our customers feel appreciated and ensuring that Proactive Despatch is a fantastic place to work!

Lynn Costello

Financial Controller

Lynn is Proactive Despatch’s longest serving employee, having been with the company since 2010. As Financial Controller Lynn keeps us on track by ensuring all payments go out on time and that we get paid in a timely manner from our customers. Like Denise she is another unsung hero ensuring we stay on top of all HR and Health & Safety issues.

Craig Hyland

Operations Director

Craig is an experienced company director who, having sold his own business in the autumn of 2014, joined us for a couple of days a week to assist in our search for Smiling Ambassadors. He quickly impressed and became our Operations Manager in the spring of 2015. In 2016 Craig went on to become Sales Manager, driving the growth of the business. Craig is currently our Operations Director ensuring that our team are consistently looking after our customers.

Customer Retention Manager

Will started with us in Autumn 2014 in our accounts department and has lent his skills to account management, operations, new business development and resource management. So it's fair to say he has a great all round knowledge of the business. Will is now back helping us to achieve our growth plans in his role as Customer Retention Manager.

Business Development Manager

Paul is on our Business Development Team. Paul is relatively new to the courier industry having spent the last 17 years working for a healthcare company. To us that is a good thing as he has no pre-conceived ideas of what customers need from their courier service. This means he has to ask lots of questions, enabling him to gain an exact understanding of what our customers really want. After all, our job is simply to make our customers lives easier or make them look good. Paul has said 'Everyone here embraces the idea of customer service and makes sure that the customer is placed 1st, the way it should be! I hope I can help the team here to continue the phenomenal growth that they've experienced over the past few years and can't wait to see what the future brings!'.

Denise Sanderson

Accounts

Denise is one of our unsung heroes, her job is to make sure we invoice our customers correctly and promptly. She also keeps our “smiling ambassadors” continually smiling by ensuring they get paid on time. As well as being one of our heroes she also gives a great deal of her time to charitable causes ensuring she raises lots of money for causes that are close to her heart. In fact Denise is that much of a hero I am surprised she has not been signed up by Marvel to join the X Men team.

Becky has been a key member of our Customer Service team for 2 years. Until she joined us Becky had worked at Tesco in their customer service department. She is full of enthusiasm and positivity and is looking to become a tried and trusted member of our team. Having a good grounding in retail will certainly help Becky at Proactive as she is already acclimatised to our customer is king philosophy. Welcome to the team Becky!

Customer Service Team Supervisor

Ross is responsible for the smooth operation of the customer service team ensuring that we are always providing the absolute best service possible. As vehicle controller he communicates with our fleet of Service Providers on a daily basis in order to allocate jobs and ensure that all collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and in accordance with our customer’s expectations. He has a fantastic relationship with all of our Smiling Ambassadors and ensures they are fully briefed about where they need to be at all times. Having joined the company initially as a Customer Service Apprentice, Ross has really embraced the Proactive Despatch culture and brings a fantastic sense of humour to our head office team!


Sarah McGuiness

Customer Service Assistant

Sarah has been in the logistics industry for over a decade now, working in customer service departments of overnight parcel companies. Like us she is fanatical about Customer Service, and has joined a company where that desire to go above and beyond can really make a difference, not just to us but also to our valued customers. We think she will find working with us a refreshing change, as at Proactive we are genuinely able to take ownership of a customers consignment from start to finish. No more fire-fighting for Sarah just a chance to Proactively ensure customers goods always land on time and in one piece. We are delighted to have her as part of our team, and to give her the platform to show off her customer service skills.
