Paul started Proactive Despatch back in 2008 and has spent the past nine years establishing our company as one of the North West’s leading courier firms. He has nearly twenty years experience of working in the courier industry but what really motivates Paul is delivering great customer service. Paul is here to service our staff and our customers and is committed to making our customers feel appreciated and ensuring that Proactive Despatch is a fantastic place to work!

Craig is our sales person with a difference, yes he loves closing deals and watching our business grow. However equally he loves finding out about businesses out there in the market and what makes them tick. Craig lives and breathes our company core values and culture, and having been a fundamental part of the business for the last few years, he also intrinsically understands how our operation works. This means he only promises what we can deliver (if you excuse the pun). p.s. he is one of life’s “good guys” and loves a cuppa. Lynn is Proactive Despatch’s longest serving employee, having been with the company since 2010. As Financial Controller Lynn keeps us on track by ensuring all payments go out on time and that we get paid in a timely manner from our customers. Like Denise she is another unsung hero ensuring we stay on top of all HR and Health & Safety issues.

Head Vehicle Planner

Ross is responsible for the smooth operation of the customer service team ensuring that we are always providing the absolute best service possible. As vehicle controller he communicates with our fleet of Service Providers on a daily basis in order to allocate jobs and ensure that all collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and in accordance with our customer’s expectations. He has a fantastic relationship with all of our Smiling Ambassadors and ensures they are fully briefed about where they need to be at all times. Having joined the company initially as a Customer Service Apprentice, Ross has really embraced the Proactive Despatch culture and brings a fantastic sense of humour to our head office team!

Proactive Despatch like any other company worth their salt, have ambitious growth plans. As such we are always keen to speak to and attract new customers - that said, we absolutely do not do this at the expense of our existing loyal customers. Paul’s job is to ensure we live up to our promises and company values and keep our current customers loyal. Paul also ensures we live up to our core values of turning our customers into raving fans of our business, ensuring we remain consistent and not complacent.

Accounts

Denise is one of our unsung heroes, her job is to make sure we invoice our customers correctly and promptly. She also keeps our “smiling ambassadors” continually smiling by ensuring they get paid on time. As well as being one of our heroes she also gives a great deal of her time to charitable causes ensuring she raises lots of money for causes that are close to her heart. In fact Denise is that much of a hero I am surprised she has not been signed up by Marvel to join the X Men team.

Special Projects

Will started with us in Summer 2014 and is now our flexible friend with a great understanding of our whole business. At Proactive, our business moves at a very fast pace and each of the team have a very specific role to do. Will completes anything the business needs outside of that. We have recently gained ISO accreditation's, which Will successfully delivered. He also makes sure we are compliant with GDPR and many other things in what is a dynamic role.

Stan is the man with a plan, tasked with making sure the couriers we use collect and deliver on time. As a former Proactive customer himself he knows how highly we value our customers, and as a result he is keen to ensure our customers becoming raving fans of our business.


Nicole Lander

Resource Manager

Nicole is our newest recruit and has joined us as a member of our Resource Team. She is an avid fan of Customer Service so we think she is in the right place, her role is to source new couriers to represent our business. Unlike some courier companies we do not just want couriers who have a driving licence and a pulse, we want genuine smiling ambassadors who will showcase our brand in the best way. Nicole’s job is to find them, see if they are genuine customer service people and then encourage them to work with us.
