Due to continued growth we are now looking to recruit a new Accounts Assistant to join the team here at Proactive Despatch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career with a rapidly growing, customer obsessed company.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, our new Accounts Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliation, credit control, and generally ensuring that we remain financially sound in all areas of the business.
The successful applicant must have a diligent and proactive approach to their work duties, strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and work colleagues, and exceptional customer service skills to ensure our high standards are maintained at all times.
Previous experience in an accountancy position using software such as SAGE would be advantageous, but not essential. Candidates will also be expected to be familiar with all applications of Microsoft Office.
