A post from Paul Woods – Managing Director
I had dinner with a mentor of mine last week, who exited his business a decade ago.
He told me that he was really glad he is not in business anymore. Said it was so much easier when he was running his company.
It is hard to disagree with his assessment in the current climate.
We have:
Rising costs as a result of USA/Iran war
Additional costs of employing people not to mention the additional employment laws that came out in April
Customers paying later and later and sometimes not at all.
I could go on all day.
However, as I am getting older and uglier I realise everything goes in cycles.
Nothing is permanent.
So, we can all take some relief in the fact that if you look hard enough there is opportunity..
There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Remember in most cases if you are having a bad time, a good time is coming soon.
The bad news is if you are flying prepare for some shit coming your way.
